Dilip Patel has completed his B.D.S. and M.D.S. courses from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad. He topped university in the batch of 1984, throughout the course. He has been an eminent practitioner in Rajkot. His more than 30 years’ practice in the same field has given him the required vision, foresight, and skills to proficiently use the appliances and achieve the desired smile. Dilip Patel has shared his expertise with Gurukul Charitable Hospital, Rajkot as an honorary service for 10 years.
He is famed for the Twin Block Functional Therapy and treated more than 500 cases by the same therapy in his career. The founder of the technique, Dr. William Clark is overwhelmed and very pleased with the array of complex cases Dr. Dilip Patel successfully treated with his therapy. Some cases treated by Dilip Patel have also been included in thesis ‘New Horizons in Orthodontics’ written by William Clark which is submitted in the University of Dundee, Scotland. He has also contributed in international books like ‘Twin Block Functional Therapy’, by Dr. William Clark and ‘Faces and Braces’ written by Rebecca Clark. Dilip Patel has delivered lectures in various colleges and orthodontic conferences. All the appliances used in all treatments are designed and made by himself.
